Born and Raised in Norfolk Virginia, Emmit founded Tidewater Roofing in 1987. With nearly 40 years of various hands-on construction experience, Emmit developed a keen understanding of building science before focusing his attention on roofing.

Starting from just a couple guys and a truck, Emmit has spent decades building Tidewater Roofing into an industry leading powerhouse — completing over 100,000 roofing projects from simple repairs, residential roof replacement, to major commercial roofing projects.
